SUBMARINE
Konut Mimarisi · Göcek, Muğla · 2020. A house set into an olive grove at Gökçeovacık, above Göcek on the Aegean coast. Residential, Göcek, Muğla. TUNK: İstanbul mimarlık, sergi tasarımı ve enstalasyon ofisi.
Concrete volumes step into the slope and open through full-height glass to the bay and the sunset. A circular oculus is cut through the upper floor, drawing daylight down into the stone-walled rooms below. A custom furniture collection in mild steel and oak (shelving, a hall console, a bench) was drawn for the interior and fabricated to the same line as the architecture.
